Suicide Awareness and Understanding

Service Description

Papyrus, a charity specialising in young suicide, will be delivering a half day training for AhHa Therapies. This will aim to address attitudes, myths and stigma that surround suicide and to recognise the signs that may indicate someone is having thoughts of suicide. The training will endeavour to encourage an open, safe and sensitive conversation about suicide with a person having thoughts of suicide and to support a safety plan with someone who may be thinking of suicide. The afternoon session will offer participants an opportunity to discuss and present case studies of client work.
