Service Description

This Face to Face training day will largely be experiential so you will learn first-hand the impact and use of: Some Sandtray techniques – how to use small objects and figures within a sandtray context to help clients see their world both emotionally and systemically. Learn some ‘scripts’ to use to move clients forward or contextualise their current situation. Use of ‘Theatre Therapy’ cards – Life roles and how we adopt them, adapt them and get stuck in them. You will use cards to represent the life Play we all perform on a daily basis and see the others around us in their roles. We understand the ‘props’ we use and how they may help or hinder us. Nancy Secchi has been a practicing Therapist, Trainer, Consultant and clinical supervisor within the Voluntary Sector, Education, NHS, local authority and private sectors for over 30 years. She is qualified in Social Work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dramatherapy and Play Therapy. She currently works in a Primary School and run a private practice from home where she works with children, families, couples and individuals. Early Bird discount if booked before 29th July (£55).
